Where do you go from here?

I am just in a really good mood today, and wanted to share a thought I had!

I am sure it's been posted in some form or another all over this forum, but it makes sense to me, and I am hoping it makes sense to a lot of others trying to jump aboard...

People are always asking, "What the hell am I supposed to do now?!"

I figured it out. lol

It doesn't matter where you go at first, as long as you jump on the train when it isn't moving too fast. (You'd just end up falling off and getting hurt anyway!)

Jump on the train at it's next station. Just get on! Just DO it!

It's not like it's the trains very last stop--it will lead you to many new places, many great opportunities can present themselves, by jumping to different cars...

You just have make that first initial jump, and if you are too scared to make that jump, there are 923847293874 other people who weren't.

Dusted again.

The point is, you will never know where you need to be until you get there, and then it just feels RIGHT.

Food for thought

Hope everyone is having a great week!!

That's true. The key to success is steady work, and getting good feedback on whether the work you're doing is getting the results that you want. 90% of people will read blog posts instead of actually trying anything out. The fastest road to failure is by not taking that first step!

    BC,

Nice post. You're learning and making progress.

The ability to be observant, watchful, and a humble learner will serve you well in this industry.

A key skill that really comes in handy here at the forum is learning to recognize truth from BS. There is a lot of both to be found here. But if you watch, listen, ask questions, and learn to sort out in your own mind who is telling the truth and who is not, it will help you immensely.

Why? Simply because it is smart to not reinvent the wheel in all your IM tasks, strategies, and methods. You don't have the time or money to learn everything by trial and error. It is better to find marketers that have figured things out and follow their lead but adding your own twists and personality.

The very best to you BC.

    Nice Post

Maintaining a positive outlook is great and will certainly get you far.

Many times people get overwhelmed because of all the different information out there. The fact is there is so much information because there are a million ways to make a buck on the internet.

For my own projects whenever I feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just not sure what to do next - I start at the end.

Sometimes looking at my desired end result, then working backwards helps me to choose the next step.

I agree with Steve too - hiring a coach can really shortcut your pain and time. Partnering up with someone too adds a lot of power to your production as well.

    Thanks for keeping it upbeat

    Great post, thanks.
I just started out with my own blog and was part of a group - coaching. That really helped me a lot. Escpecially staying focused and not getting disctracted. This is a common problem in the IM niche i guess.
What i also can recommend is to get help from other marketers, joining groups - like forums - is a good way to go. And - i totally agree - a coach is invaluable.
    All the best!

Yes, you have to show courage and try. Sometimes it will be good, other times it will be bad, or have both sides. Perhaps in the future everything will make sense.
