Undertaking niche with location component
I'm undertaking an authority site, and some of the information visitors in this niche will be seeking is location oriented.
For example, when Pat Flynn did "Security Guard Training HQ", he had to build content for every state since training is different depending on where you live.
The location stuff for my niche is even more complex, since there's a lot of sub elements within these location guides that would have to come to play.
For example, if my niche was lavish party tips, these location guides would have to include vendors and shops related to the different party planning elements.
How do you suggest I approach this? I do plan to outsource some of the research and writing, but I do feel overwhelmed.
Alternatively, do you think it would be okay to hold off on developing that area of the site, and instead focus on stuff that's not location specific (such as "lavish party themes", or "lavish party items", or "how to plan a lavish party" guide) to start ... then develop the local stuff down the line?
