Hey all,
I am new to the forum and would love some info on where to start writing articles. I have had one piece of work published in Pitpilot surf magazine and would love to continue doing so online.
thanks
James

Have you started your own blog or website yet?

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

I guess it depends on your purpose for writing them?

I mean do you want to write to get paid just for writing them?

Or do you want to promote your product or affiliate links?

EzineArticles.com is a good place to start, but you can't directly link to your affiliate links.
You will have to have a landing page and link to it in your bio box.

GoArticles.com is another place that does allow you to directly link in the article.

IMHO, the best place to start writing articles in on your own blog under your own domain name. Get that right and others will find you offering equitable reciprocation.

    James,

You should consider article directories (Ezinearticles.com and Goarticles.com are good places to start)

You should also consider a blog if you want to write. Blogger.com is a free site to get a blog set up. If you want to create your own site with blog then the wordpress platform is typically the best, most powerful, and easy to use.

If I can help you drop me a line!

    Cheers,

Here are a couple options if you want to write for money

      1. Post a WSO with article writing as a service. Expect to charge no more than 5-7 dollars per 500 word article b/c WSO's are meant to be cheap and they are relationship builders with people who hire article writers.

      2. Get on Elance.com and build a profile there. People ask for article writers all the time and it's a good way to build relationships as well. You could probably get 7 dollars consistently on there since there isn't as much of a "cheap" factor there (as compared to the WSO section).

      3. Publish a package of 50 articles on 5 niche topics and sell it as a WSO. High quality PLR on "in-demand" niches is always in demand and coudl be your first product for sale. You could create a list of buyers and then market your writing services that way.

Those are 3 business ideas for "writing for money"...now just go do something with it

      Cheers,

Well bro, you can write your articles on Squidoo.com. They have a revenue sharing program where your article pages will have adsense ads (among other things) and if your articles get traffic, any revenue generated through those pages will be shared between you and Squidoo.

Or you can approach ezine publishers and offer to write for them for money. You can get a very good directory of ezines (and their publishers) at DirectoryOfEzines.com.

Or you can just offer your writing services here in the Warrior Forum by posting a classified ad or in the warrior-for-hire section.

    Hope that helps.
