Domain Forwarding For Clickbank products... ?

Hey,
I'm getting mixed information on this topic. I want to test CB offers by direct liking but I want to use my own domain name so to avoid the dozens of other affiliates using the merchant's domain. If I use domain forwarding with my own domain, will I get slapped by Google if the display and destination URL end up resolving to something else?

I got slapped a long time ago for something else and have been able to recover since but I don't want to get under the radar again.

Any advice would be very helpful.

Thanks!

Nope Google wont slap you for that. Your domain would be giving PR value to the affilliate domain and you dont get to build a mailing list.

  • You planning on Organic SEO for your offers or Advertising. The latter works... the former... well good luck with that.

I wouldn't waste time doing SEO for a redirect. But that's me.

Frames work for clickbank. I got higher than the vendor using a frame

First test the clickbank product to make sure it is a winner. You can do with your own domain name and redirect it.

If it makes sales, then you'll want to create a sandwhich page in which you review the product before sending them to the clickbank vendor page.

With your own review page, you can build SEO with it and control which products you want to test.

    Tweak from there...

    PM if you have questions.

    Rock on.

Hey thanks a lot for the input guys, yeah that's all I want to do for now is just test the offer and then build out an actual site with content of my own in a review style. I was just a little concerned about the slap because of the redirect.

So what I'm getting here is that I would basically go to my hosting account domain management area and set the redirect to occur from there correct? I'm with blue host and so far it looks pretty simple.

I am also interested in learning more about the iFrame or framing method, not sure how this is done, is this also acceptable for google?

    Thanks a lot
    Charlie.
