I made a post about doing a joint-venture on a 2k product in the [deleted] industry and can't find it...was it deleted?

I don't come on here much so I'm not sure what the rules are.

Are we allowed to do business on these forums or is it just a place to ask for advice?

The rules for each section are in the "stickies" at the top of that section....including the JV section.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

View all your posts. If its not there it has been deleted. If it has been deleted dont bother asking why it has been. You wont get an answer.

Most of the time, that would be true. This one might be helpful for others, and he made the uncommon gesture of asking his questions in a civil fashion. This was an honest request for information, not the usual tantrums that accompany deleted posts. For instance, he didn't ask why it was deleted.

    To the OP...

It was deleted because it was an ad.

Yes, you can do business here, but not directly in the discussion sections. The kind of post you made can be allowed in smaller groups, but this place has long since passed that threshold.

Some folks will say your offer should be in the JV section. This one shouldn't.

We could debate the meaning of the term "joint venture" all week long, and many would. That's because the JV section is free and the affiliate directory isn't. There's an easy way to tell which section is the right one: If you can describe the offer as an affiliate arrangement, it goes in the affiliate directory.

You could also place an ad for affiliates in the WSO section or the classifieds, and/or post the details on your own site and link to them from your signature.
