Question about the Freelancer/WF Merger...

Since Warrior Forum merged with Freelancer, if I post a project on Freelancer (or start a contest), does that mean the project will also show up on the Warrior for Hire section, or are the two still kinda separate? Thanks.

They are still separate I believe.

A small change in the rules is the only difference I see:

In the classifieds, complete sites for sale, and warriors for hire sections of the forum, you may now bump threads once they scroll onto the second page of the section. You don't have to wait for page 3 any more.

Unlike the WSO section, which moves fairly quickly, these 3 parts of the forum can take a long time to scroll through to the third page. For those who depend on "organic" traffic in those sections, which doesn't really look beyond the first page, this creates a significant lapse in exposure time.

Yep, they're still separate from what I can see. Good question though. I do like the changes to the classifieds section.

Those changes were made some time ago, before the announcement of freelancer buying WF. People are using the term merger, but merger is not correct. Freelancer bought WF ... they didn't merge with it. Whether or not it remains to operate independently of Freelancer remains to be seen, but a merger implies that two companies merged into one. I think acquisition is a more appropriate term at this point.
