is there a free easy e book cover generator?

i have got the gimp tutorial, and even have photoshop, but clearly have some sort of IQ problem. i have my product ready for launch, but seem to be getting some sort of brain freeze about a silly thing like an e book cover.
what is even worse is that i have possible downloaded someones "free report" months ago on how to do it and mave now let it become lost in that dust collection section that we appear to all have in our computers.
does nayone have a solution.
once i have launched my report and am starting to get some sales then i can pay for the service, but for now i am stuck. ish.

Don't get a cover maker. Go to digital point forums and get a designer. Offer to market their services in your book and they might design you a cover for free. That's how I got my cover :-)
