Guys I've got a question about opt-in form location.

So basically here's the deal, I'm having my website completely revamped and redesigned with new logos, etc.

If you take a look at my website HERE, the current opt-in form is right on the front when you land on it.

The new site will have a slider on the home page going through different slides. Should I keep my opt-in form right where the slider is located (static location while slides are moving) on top or should I have the slider take over the main top portion and move the optin below?

    Go with the first idea. The opt-in form looks really swell and it really grabs my attention. Just keep it where people can see it immediately.

    Please re-consider to use slider! look at all the professional sites - who using slider?

    You MUSTplace the opt-in above the fold, where it is now.
    Putt the opt-in below at the button of each post. If the visitor made all the way down - they will probably subscribe

    There is only ONE way to find out which is best and that is NOT by asking here.

    I'm sure you could guess what the method for finding out is?

    Amateurs ask "should I do this should I do that?"

    Pro's....just test each element of their websites and use whatever coverts best.

    Split test city, once again. But I do dig that spot. Devil's Advocate; I'm pushing my opt in form to the bottom of my squeeze page. I want a more discerning customer. I've seen guys like Yaro Starok do this with great success and I find people who get to know about me, and my site, by reading the copy, and looking around, before opting in are more highly qualified. I go against the grain; I want people to work a bit before opting in. They'll be a better match for my team.

    It grabs my attention the way it is now. But I have to agree with the suggestions of testing it! You have to test and see what converts better, then obviously go with the best converting option.

    As others have stated, test it. It appears you have opt-forms in the 'normal' suggested areas. Try an opt-in form at the end of each post as well.

    You have already answer yourself here in the topic. I agree with helisell.

    What you need to do is very simple as I said....

    You have already the website 1 ready, do the second website with the second option slider and split test this 2 websites, you came with the winner and you are DONE...

    Put them in different locations set up a list for the different opt in forms (or use a plugin or leadpages) and track and test the conversion. That way you'll see what's the best location.

      Don't worry if it "looks" good or bad. Ugly sites usually convert better (that's true). Place your form in different locations and test conversions. Don't go by hearsay. Do it yourself and find out the best spot based on CTR.
