I am an online marketing rookie, and I want to begin learning how to kill it online this summer as I work and save up a bank roll to use. I am having trouble finding out where the best place for me to go to, to begin learning the skills. I am not looking for get rich quick, but I do want to learn how to be an online marketing expert. I have looked into My top tier business as an affiliate marketing thing to join to begin learning, but not sure if thats a good fit. Thanks for your replies and help!

Before you join MTTB, you should know they have an upsell which they exclude on their sales page. You would be asked to buy $2000 license (optional) in order to make the $1000 commission. You make the $1000 commission when you refer someone and they buy the $2000 license aswell. Same goes for $3000 and $5000 commission.
People have seen alot of success in MTTB, but not sure if you would like to enter it considering the amount to be spent right off the bat as a begineer with no reputation.
We're actually in the same boat lol.. I'm getting my feet wet with Affiliate marketting and Adsense. PM me anytime and we can help each other out.

You just gave yourself the best advice you can give.

Start taking action and just know that you will make a few mistakes along the way. Somethings may not work too well for you but you have to seek the things and strategies that will make you money.

It also very OK to lose money and have a few setbacks. Everything will be a learning curve for you.

Never give up no matter what.

Don't rush into something without doing any research. That was the mistake I made when I first started. The first thing you got to do is to look for a profitable niche. You have to do your own research. Don;t go after highly competitive niches like weight loss and fitness.

Look for niches which have a decent search volume (not too much or too little). It is best ti look at something that you are passionate about or you have some interests in. It makes things easier.

After yu have identified your niche, look for affiliate products that you may want to promote. At the same time, you should be thinking of the contents that you want to have on your website. Remember, having great content for your website is a must.

You should also think how you want your site to look like.

After you have done all the ground work, then it is time to build your website or your blog. You gotta have some other elements in place, like a great offer to capture leads, etc.

Then you have to drive targeted traffic to your site.

It seems like a lot of work. It is. Take action. Things need not be perfect. You can always improve later on.

          Hope this helps.

          Cheers,
          boon

You can get started with as little as $50. Starting with a small amount of money can actually help you make smarter decisions because you obviously don't have a lot of money to waste.

$250-$500 would be more than enough to start building a website, a sales funnel, paid traffic, and even outsourcing.

First identify your interest areas. Don't run after the money. Follow you passion and you'd be able to make a "killing" over and over again. Walking in the footsteps of successful IMers is a good idea, but unless you love what you do, you won't succeed.

If you have money to invest, why not?

After all, it is just $49 to get started.

Best of all, they will assign you a personal coach that will guide you during the 30 days or so to complete all 21 action plans to make sure you make your first $ online.

If you want to be successful in anything you want to, make sure you are with people or mentor who are already successful in whatever you want to accomplish.

I am also very new to IM, but what I can say is I recently got some great help from the Quick Start Challenge run by Dean Holland. Finding a good mentor has given me a massive help to move forward.
I have also started to read this forum regularly as there is some very experienced folk on here.
    Good luck with your venture.

I learnt a lot from Sean Mize but it was expensive. You can download a superb Ebook written by Sean from my new website (see my signature below). It is worth its weight in Gold.
I also learnt a lot from Tony Shepherd's Kick Start Marketing Course. It is inexpensive and leads you through all the steps to earn money online.

If you've done your research on My Top Tier Business and you feel like it's a good investment then go with that and stick with it until you start making a consistent income.

There are so many business models and opportunities online, but it's up to you to go with your gut feeling and focus on one opportunity at a time.

Whatever you decide, make sure you commit to making it work and don't let other products and opportunities distract you. Once you start making a consistent income then it would be smart to start creating another income stream.

I'd suggest that you start creating your blog, squeeze page, autoresponder, etc and start promoting free products through clickbank.

Promoting clickbank products is totally free, but the commission is not big. Depending on what kind of product you choose, you can get $10-$20 commission per sale. It's not something you can live off of, but it gets your system going, and it gives yourself time to learn the ropes. Once you can sell tens of products with ease, I would suggest that you move on to the higher tier products such as MTTB or MOBE.

Because you had experiences selling clickbank products, it would be easier for you to sell more expensive products. For your information MTTB costs $49, and at the end of first week, they will offer you to upgrade your membership to MOBE, which costs $1997.

However, it is possible for you to go straight to MTTB and MOBE IF you have a mentor who can show you exactly what you need to do. So, without having any experience, as long as you have someone alongside you, it would be possible. There are plenty of coaches out there who claims to be good, but choose wisely.

MOBE gives you $1,000 commission per sale, which is much bigger than any clickbank products I've ever seen. With a good coach, you can easily make 2-3 sales a month, which is somewhere close to full time income. You can then re-invest your earnings to upgrade your system, and earn even more the following month. A good coach would have trainings for that. On top of that MTTB provides you with great 21-step training as well and 30 day traffic plan.

If you want to play it safe, try promoting free products first. But if you're ready to take some risks, go with MTTB. High Risk, High Rewards. Most people want that high rewards, but they're not willing to take any risk, it's just not possible.

I was sceptical of the whole world of IM to be honest, then i took part in the Quick Start Challenge and made more progress in 3 weeks than I had done for months. I have been so impressed with the guidance of Dean Holland that I have invested in iPro. I can't believe what a difference a good mentor has made. Looking back, I know I could have put things in place probably?, but I was so busy worrying about what to do first, I never got anything off the ground.
I am excited now about the future; thanks to finding a mentor that suited me.

    Identify your skills.
Is there anything you are good at/passionate about that you can write about?
My way into all this was selling software/ebooks and video training courses that I created.
It was my passion at the time & has been working well all these years.
You can also become an affiliate for other peoples products, but you would still need to create content or get it written for you.
