Some Great Video Marketing Strategies?

Howdy Warriors!
This is my first thread on the forum. I have spent some time digging around in here, and I absolutely love all the great information you guys are providing!

I have spent quite some time just learning the game of internet marketing, and setting up a sales funnel with PLR products just to get started. (Plan to get a JV invite page up and running aswell)

Anyway, I am going to build my list more effectively that I have done the last cuople of months, and I figured that video marketing must be one (among other) great way to get subscribers when starting out.

Anyone got some experiences they'd like to share? what strategies have you had most success with? Is there any promotion strategy that's smart to implement when uploading a new video? All tips are welcome

    Video marketing works to get free leads but you have to be patient.

    If you want faster results and to get a lot of subscribers fast, I would go with pay per click marketing.

        Putting your videos on you tube is always a good strategy as part of your marketing drive.

          That's what I tought. Can use the videos as content to give away to my list aswell as blog content too

            You can do anything you want with it. I normally write a blog post than I make a video out of it and put it on my channel I put it also in the post to rank the post better. If you used for example a powerpoint presentation than you can do even a slideshare presentation out of it.

            Many ways to go you just have to think a bit outside the box.

    Video marketing can be very powerful when done properly. What I do is I treat my YouTube channel like a website. I make an effort to upload new videos weekly, and I give free content away to my subscribers and I invite them to check out my other websites and social media accounts.

    It usually takes time to get views, and build up your fan base on YouTube, unless you know how to rank your videos at the top of the search rankings. So, don't get discouraged if you don't get 100,000 views to your first video.

    Make Sure you have a stunning video,always invest in a good video, ppl on youtube are there for a reason,to see good videos,may it be promotional, but always make interesting video, that way you will always end up getting real subs and likes,and video will get views and authority.

    Next is to optimize the video,tags,desc, etc etc
    Research your keyword on youtube, to see variation of your keywords.

    Than next is BL to your video to try rank them on Big G

    For Google, i'd check 2 things:

    1) YouTube: Number of results for the keyword (with quotes). You'd like to know
    if you have to fight against 1000's of videos or not.

    2) Google: Number of Videos Currently Ranking on Page 1 For Your Keyword.

    If there are tons of YTB videos for a keyword but none is getting a google rank, then it could not be a good indicator (that keyword may be too competitive to rank with YTB).

    Just my 2 cents.

      So if there is many youtube videos for a keyword it is going to be hard to rank it on YTB, but if none of those videos appears on the 1st page of Google for that keyword, it could be easier to rank on Google? Is that what you meant?
