Affiliate marketing with Solo Ads?

So I was on JzVoo and there are some products with 7% conversion rate. I was wondering if using solo ads as traffic to these affiliate offers would work at all? Has anyone tried it?

The best way to go about it is structure a lead
capture page around what it is you're offering.
Once you get the lead you can redirect them to the
    affiliate product.

If they don't purchase up front you will then have
more chances to market to them. And your cost of
acquiring new customers is drastically reduced.

Leading directly with an offer usually doesn't
work well at all in my experience.

7% conversion rate doesn't mean a whole lot though unless you know who has sent traffic to that offer. If only a few good affiliates have promoted it then they can bump that figure up dramatically. It doesn't mean it will convert anywhere near that with cold solo ad traffic. The only way to know is to test. But as the poster above said, whenever you are promoting any type of affiliate offers you should always be sending those leads to an optin page first so you are building a list at the same time.

I think I am going to test it and see what happens.

    Somethings you need to understand.

    1) Most solo ad sellers will only send out to a free offer.
    2) 7% conversion rate is an affiliate conversion rate. That is affiliates promoted to their list / contacts to get that conversion rate. The only reason its 7% is because the affiliates have a relationship with their list. If you where to drive traffic to the sales page that you dont have a relationship with, even targeted traffic, you would be lucky to get a 1-2% conversion.
