outsourcing landing pages

Hi all, do you use outsourcing for your landing pages? if so, how much does it cost? do you only provide the sellers site to your outsourced guy or do you need to do more stuff before you can outsource it? I tried direct linking and it just doesn't convert (i'm on 0.7% and dropping) thanks for your time, MM

Do you mean they are going to setup a landing page on their site?
If so, I would say the price should depend on how much traffic they are generating for you.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Alan Who is the man who I and a lot of other people use. Although qualifications often mean very little, he is actually certified.

yes you can post your project on sites like elance.com, rentacoder.com and getafreelancer.com and you'll get tons of bids from qualified providers, and some unqualified ones too so be on your guard by being sure to check out the feedback left by their past clients.

Are you saying that you do not know how to build a landing page or that you want someone to build one for you because they can do it better and it would convert higher?

You could certainly save a ton of money by doing it yourself. You could use your blog.

Using a blog for a landing page is NOT the best advice.

A Landing page should have one desired action. If you are trying to get someone to fill in a form or buy something, doing it on a blog with all sorts of other outgoing links is not going to get you as good a conversion as a separate page where the user either takes the action you desire of them or they don't.

Somebody on the WF sells as Wordpress plugin that allows you to create a landing page within your blog that has nothing on it but the HTML that you put on there.

Agreed, but a blog page can be clean as a whistle and concentrate on one sought after action right?

I outsource a lot of landing pages. There are some awesome folks here in the warriors for hire section and I have some luck on Guru.com as well. Don't skimp on paying good copywriters. A kickass landing page will cost you no less than $75-$150. Always pay for top quality! Always!

Also, consider a video landing page. Just video, no more than 3 bullet points (1 line each), and call to action (i.e. order or optin...). I have been testing these and have been doubling my conversion rates for my clients. Just a thought.

Are you looking to create a landing page to capture email, or to pre-warm leads for a clickbank product?

Also what type of traffic are you using? If it's PPC then you be looking to include contact details and look a little bit more professional so that you have a high quality score.

BTW looking at Alan's site he definately know's what he's talking about, but that might just be his scottish accent and kindred spirit making me biased - but he did enough to make me join his list.
