Should you think about projecting sales figures ??

Hey Warriors

Quick question for those that have experience in launches.

As some of you may know I just quit my job and next month I have my first major launch. I have been going through the process, setting up product, getting material ready, contacting potential JV's ... etc

Well just recent I was in Vegas and a friend and fellow marketer while we were there said I should not even think about how much I want to or will make.

I was discussing the fact with some good JV's on board this could be an x figure launch ....

I thought it was good practice to have a plan and within that plan to project sales figures. However my friend is a more experienced marketer than me so hence my question

Should you think about projected sales figures whern planning a launch or just do it and see what sales you hit ??

Open for assistance Warriors .. Go .. Go .. GO

Thank you !!

Dean

I would say absolutely, positively YES!!!
Especially if you are trying to attract investors.
You need a nice, bound presentation that goes through month by month the projections for both spending and revenue. This will give you much more to discuss with investors, and show them that you have a plan, not just a nutty idea that may or may not work.
