where to give away free products for a review?

Hi everyone!
I've been selling products on Amazon.com and am looking for a place to give away free products in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. For some products, I've simply found reviewers who have email addresses listed on their profiles on Amazon, I contact them directly and send them a product to review, but other products I sell are quite specific (like diet products). I'm looking for a place where people hang out that would be INTERESTED in these products. I haven't had much luck as most forums related to specific niches have very explicit policies against "advertising" even if it's for a free product! Anyone have ideas for where I could go to find some reviewers? Thanks!

If it's a hard product, try reaching out to one of those review channels on youtube in your niche.

You could try reaching out to people on highly focused niche forums to get some reviews. The best people to get reviews from are those who are really passionate and knowledgeable about your niche.

These are the people who will be most motivated tp really give your product a thorough review that your potential customers will find useful.

Many forums have a review section. If you could find a few related forums, you may find the related reviewers.

It seems to me that this would be as good a place as any. There certainly is no shortage of people here who would be more than happy to offer reviews.

As a matter of fact, the WF is the perfect place for just about anything marketing-related. Good luck to you.

    Hi
Why not try a high traffic facebook site in your niche. Look for those sites and contact the site owner, if it is ok for him. And as it is free you are giving value.
    Hope that helps!

Facebook is ok, blogs are ok also. Find a few blogs in your niche with a good visibility and contact the owners. Their reviews could really help. Or you could go offline by organizing a social event with give-aways.

Is it free or "free + shipping"?

Anywhere you market a truly free giveaway online, you'll end up giving most of your samples to free stuff junkies. People will post it to heyitsfree.net and similar sites, and it's low quality traffic that will never take any action beyond requesting the freebie. And if you're charging for shipping, they'll insist the offer isn't really free and you're a scam.

The people who pay the least always cause the most trouble.

Your best bet here would be what you're already doing: Target past customers and offer them a freebie in exchange for a review.
