I have been trying to educate my friends and family into this matter. No easy times for anyone. My neighborhood restaurants and coffee shops are at 20-30% of what it used to be 2 years ago. Scary stuff if you ask me.

That's true. We'll see a lot more freelancers in the days to come. That's the inevitable trend everybody has to deal with.

It's really easy to feel "safe" in your current situation, and feel scared to make changes. The problem is that the current situation is going to change inevitably.
