SURVEY: What Email Open Rates Do You Get?

Guys (and gals!),

We all know that email marketing is the way to go.
We also all know that the rules of the game have changed these couple of years, and especially this year.

Deliverability is a HUGE problem now and email open rate is email marketer's headache.

So...

What kind of email open rates do you normally get these days for your email blasts?

Please put it this way:
- autoresponder used
- email open rate in %

    I'm using Aweber, I find the open rate depends on the niche my list is in (and of course the subject line!). Here are my averages for two lists:

    Health & Fitness:
    - email open rate is 9%
    Sports Training:
    - email open rate is 25%
    Signature

    Awesome, guys!

    Anything that is over 20% open rate for 'niches' is great.

    In IM/MMO marketing is is much lower from my experience.
    If you're getting 3% and up - super.

    So IM/MMO list owners, comon, show us your cool data!
