WSO Approval Question

As far as I know, I have no way to edit my WSO AFTER approval and before it goes live, correct?

It would really help if we had that option - to correct things, or add buy buttons (like with JVZoo, I'm back and forth as fast as I can).

It's been a while since I ran a WSO but if I remember correctly, you can edit once it's live.

    Wishing you much success,

It is possible to edit your WSO after it goes live.

  • I just submitted a WSO today myself. I haven't done in in a long time so I'm a bit rusty hanse making changes based on feedback.

Basically I can make changes to everything in the sales letter but I can't edit the subject line at least I don't see it. Also I put a FAQ post under the sales letter and I can edit that as well.

So if all is working you should be able to edit that. If not PM me I can send you a screen shot. Good luck.

Yes you can - just go into Advanced Edit.

Thanks everyone for your answers - it's as I suspected - we can't edit it after approval but before we pay and go live. Wish we could. It would help with getting the JVZoo-WSO connection done

The only reason I ask is, the other day I was quickly trying to pay and grab my buy buttons when someone had already posted "Where's your order button?" LOL! I was fast, but not fast enough

        Hi Tiffany,

I might be mistaken, but you can add the JVZoo buy button before you submit your WSO for approval right?

I did it recently for my latest product.

But you need the URL before you save for a buy button no? Then add it then verify

Oh I see what you mean. That is easily solved.

            This is what I did...

I created a JVZoo hosted salespage first, and then used that as the Salespage for the JVZoo interface.

(You can also just add a random page as the URL temporarily)

You can get the buttons first this way. And put them into your WSO posting before submitting it for approval.

Once my WSO was approved, I edited my JVZoo listing, and switched my Salespage URL to the WSO URL and saved. Changes are updated immediately.

Since people won't sign up and promote your affiliate links within seconds, you have ample time to make the switch.

This is what I did, though I'm not sure if you'll find this suitable.

Anyways, this is the first WSO I've launched, so I just thought everyone was doing it that way... I guess not. But I hope it helps!

Only after it goes live can you access it and edit it again.

There are a few ways however to work on your presentation in the meanwhile, so that once you pay for the thread and it goes live, it would not take as long for you to get it to look and function the way you want.

What I have done in the past is start a new thread besides the wso thread, and mess around with my sales page in that one. Then I can adjust and preview it etc, and once I am close to satisfied, simply save the code into a text doc. Then when the real wso thread goes live, I simply quickly paste the code in there.

Allot of folks though, start creating their text and layouts in one thread without saving it elsewhere, and then they submit it for approval and have no access until it goes live. So use my strategy for now until (if) they fix it.

It would really help if we had that option - to correct things, or add buy buttons (like with JVZoo, I'm back and forth as fast as I can).
Maybe your post will change that.

That will never happen, as it was a measure that was put in place so that someone couldn't sneak in less then ethical marketing that is not allowed on this forum.

But they could do that by editing any thread at any time? Not sure why it would matter if it was before it went live or after it went live in terms of sneaking something in.

          This is True.

Maybe the mods rely on the general feel of the initial submission, and the poster's credentials / history etc, to determine the odds of that post being changed to sneak in some unethical marketing after it goes live.

Also if after the fact, the post contains unethical stuff, the forum members are usually quick to report it anyhow.

Been a while since I used JV Zoo but with Warrior Plus you can get the code for the buy button and paste it into the WSO before submitting.

Then it can go live very soon after the WSO is paid for (I seem to end up pressing refresh a few times but that could just be me being paranoid).

Which is slightly less fraught than having to copy the code across once the offer's gone live.

I guess the adjusting copy side of things is why so many people use images rather than text but that's not something I've done.
