Need info on selling domain name

Hi,

Hoping all will pardon a post from a newbie: I'm about to list a domain for sale on eBay and I think it may have some reasonable value given that it pertains to the new Windows OS.......and I don't know anything about selling domain names. I've had a couple of private offers come in but nothing in the ballpark where I'd consider selling. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be most appreciative.

Thanks,

Win

As long as it doesn't contain a microsoft trademarked name then ebay isn't the right place for higher value domains. Try sedo.

Always sell your domain names with caution
because of scams here and there especially
    one-on-one selling.

Don't appraise a domain name with a suggested
Appraisal Company from your prospective buyer.
Otherwise, your buyer can appraise and deduct
the cost from your asking price.

Check if your domain name keywords trigger off
PPC adverts on your favorite search engine. That
will be an indication of a good domain name.

    Hope that helps.
