It's basically a method of exchanging click from Marketer to another.

Example, someone will send you 50 clicks to your squeeze pages, then you will send them 50 to theres.

jmarc55 is right, but would love to add a little extra to it.

Clickbanking is great for someone with a smaller list (as well with big lists, too).

So they can send 100 clicks, to someone with a bigger list over time...

Then once they are finished, the person who received sends back to them.

And from the thousands upons thousands of CB's I've done...

The majority of the time the clicks come from other locations besides broadcasts

So clickbanking isn't selling click bank products? Saaaay whaaaaaat! haha (sorry if this in anyway sounds sarcastic, I'm deadly serious!)

Also, with clickbanking, you are usually getting subs that have just subscribed to another list. If you are looking to build up a list to sell solo ads, this may not be the best method to use.

You don't need squeeze page software but you can get some if you wish.

And, how qualified would this traffic be that is being sent to your page? Are the people going there really interested in what you have to say, such as are they from the same niche? If so, then maybe there could be a chance that method could work.

Clickbanking is basically a prolonged ad swap.

It's a good strategy for people who want to swap clicks but have different sizes of lists.

For instance, we agree to bank 500 clicks. My partner sends me the clicks in a couple of weeks time, when i received 500 clicks i will send them back to him at once.

It's a great way to get free clicks when you're just starting out building a list because you can basically get started banking clicks immediately

      It doesn't.

Other people clicking on a link to your opt-in page can build your list if they decide to subscribe.

"Clickbanking" (stupid name) is one of the ways of trying to get another marketer's subscribers to do that, when that other marketer gives you a solo ad and you give them a solo ad in exchange, offering your own subscribers the opportunity to subscribe additionally to their list.

The only significance of the so-called "clickbanking" method is that it's a way of "measuring"/"scoring" which enables list-owners to do this kind of exchange with other list-owners whose lists are of a very different size (which would otherwise be tricky to arrange, without some "measuring"/"scoring" method of this kind).

      Hi,

When someone clicks your link they can then do something what is known as....

      ....."Opt Into Your List".

So once they've clicked on a link in an email, signature or below a YouTube
video for example they will then be met by a squeeze page.

This offers further additional information for free and that person can enter
their name and email in exchange for that information.

Once someone adds their email into that box on the squeeze page they are
then added to your list via an email Auto Responder.

They are now on your list!

You can now send messages to them via your A.R. with links in them too.

You can point these links to blog posts, videos, products etc etc.

      Hope that helps,

      Gavin

        That's the $64,000 question, isn't it?

How qualified? Depends on who you choose to swap clicks with, and how they send those clicks. I've done well trading clicks from thank-you pages and opt-in success pages in the past.

Are the people interested? Having some standards of who you trade with helps, but the final answer lies in testing different offers until you find one that works.
