I am a newbie to butterfly marketing software. I have heard so much about it that I got it for free. With butterfly marketing I am thinking of creating a site. I want to place a popup optin script in the home page. Is there a way to integrate an optin script in butterfly marketing script. If so, which optin software should I use. There is no information about this in caterpillar forum. I think mike filsaime should provide some kind of tool inside butterfly marketing script so it is easy to place it in the site. Looking forward for your answers Thanks |

Hi Primal, Mike has included an opt-in form within the BFM software. You just have to go into the admin panel, configure it and hook it up to the autoresponder of your choice, such as 1SC. Hope this helps. Ellen Ellen Britt, PA, Ed.D. |

Hi Primal, Ellen is right. To add the opt-in form on that page, you just need to use the {signup_form} tag. However, if you are looking for a pop-up or exit-pop type of opt-in form, currently it is not available (at least that's what I understand from the previous replies from their Tech-support). - Keith Choy |

Thanks guy for all the information you provided. Actually I have already got the optin form in the signup page but I want to add a optin code in the popup if the visitor tries to leave the site. Should I use the same {signup_form} and place it in the popup script. I don't think it will work. Mike Flisaime needs to work on this. Thanks anyways |

Mike Filsaime does not need to work on this. That's why the guy makes 2 million a month. He lets others do the work and add to the already tons of features that this script has. You need to get away from the pop up and move towards a pop under or somthing like Exit Splash from Dave Guindon. As stated above I have no doubt that someone has already made a video showing how to insert this. Possibly a page peel will do as well. As long as the script you use is part of the main index page template, it will show up and not be considered a pop up which many hosting companies block anyways. Michael J Ottman |

hey primal i think we discuss this on the forum. you never sent me the popup code you were trying to use. i really think it all depends on the form. if it's encrypted java then i dont know if you can do anything about that
