What are the steps to take in starting an Internet Marketing Web page?

My husband and I are considering moving out to the mountains and would like to establish a good steady source of income working online. We have a couple of good ideas we think, as to a couple of businesses that might work. Where do we start?

What a wonderful thought! Moving out to the mountains where the cost of living is probably not as high, and the scenery is beautiful.

My first advice is to create for yourself a google document that you can easily edit, and start to organize your ideas. Then study what other people are doing and start to collect your favorite ideas. Narrow it down to something you think you can do (but keep the other ideas too). Don't be in rush to invest in something. Just study and learn as you develop your plan, and think things will start to become more clear.

Oh, and don't forget to think about the skills you already have and how that might factor in to your plan.

If you have no clue, here's a good place to start - this forum.

It's always a good idea to follow your passion. If you think you can gain from online resources, go for it. Always remember though, it's never easy and you have to put in a lot of effort, time and hard work.
