I haven't tried to do traffic exchange but i'm much more knowledgeable in building links. It will do just make sure you exchange traffics with high page rank sites.

I don't believe in traffic exchange networks by any means. You get nothing from them.

Even if you do build a list from them, converting one of the subscribers into a sale is like climbing the everest. Which is very hard

Don't spend your time on those ways of traffic generation. Use the ethical ways to bring targeted traffic to your sites. It's easier to get a sale from 20 targeted visitors than to get a sale from 3000 visitors who came from lame places like traffic exchange networks.

If you need traffic, simply write articles, create videos for youtube and all the other sites, build new web properties on web 2.0 sites. Turn all the traffic from all those sources into one main site you have. See whats working and whats not. Then concentrate in working more about the ways that did work.

That's about it.

So you think it's more ethical to "abuse" services like youtube and other 2.0 sites for commercial purposes than getting traffic from people that have agreed to visit your sites. That's hilarious dude, thanks for cracking me up.

BTW - There are people making 6 figures a year by targeting traffic exchanges and getting a large number of affiliates promoting their program to get unreal amounts of visitors.

Bad choice of words there when you used the phrase "use the ethical ways to bring targeted traffic"..

This implies that Traffic Exchanges are all unethical, which is not the case in many of the more well known ones. I used to use them when I was a newbie and did get to know a few of the owners of some TE's and found them to be great, honest, helpful and approachable people and their exchanges are run professionally and fairly, nothing unethical about them at all.

I agree that for most business types a TE is not going to help you one iota but just because it won't does not make it unethical.

Sorry to jump on you over the use of that word but I felt slightly offended on behalf of the very ethical TE owners that I know and so felt it necessary to point this out.

My 2 cents' worth here is going to be as follows: I do not believe in traffic exchange simply because it does not bring in the visitors who might be at least theoretically interested in what your site has to offer (though I might be a little biased here because this could be niche-sensitive). I'd rather stick to effort used to attract valid traffic (i.e. those who are genuinely searching for what they are looking at).

When I started my Internet Marketing experience, I used only Traffic Exchanges, but they doesn't deliver a good traffic.

Keep in mind that the 99% people that clicks, click only to get a credit.
You can give away free Ferrari or Lamborghini, but no one will see your ad.

The unique way to get leads is put up a gift page with a free ebook, report or newsletter.
No other ways will give you good results.

Hey Punk,

you don't to be using the traffic exchanges trust me.
They do not work, moreover the
Traffic Exchanges traffic is hurting your website, because
people come and leave fast, and that is not good
in the eyes of the search engines.

Lol, again with the BS, just because you cannot do anything with TE traffic doesn't mean it's the same for everyone. Robert puddy, Jon Olson and others have lists of 100k+ mostly from TEs and pull 6 figures a year. I can say that TEs are building 2 of my lists and making me money so yeah, they don't work.

However, it takes ages to get started, they need to know your name and face to treat your offers differently. And also you need to have a design that stands out. So do I recommend it for someone new to the IM world? Nope.

Traffic Exchanges are one way of getting traffic. However, it depends on what you are trying to achieve. Yes, you can build you list from them and then sell to your list over the long term. However, if you have no optin page to capture subscribers, then this will not work for you.

Some traffic exchanges are highly untargeted traffic and the most important part of getting traffic is to get targeted traffic.

if you are starting out building traffic for yourself then try some of the free methods of building traffic like;

1. Joining forums in your niche and adding a signature - you have this already

2. posting comments on blogs

3. Adding lots of top quality content to your site

4. Generating backlinks from other sites

Spend the time to add quality content and your traffic will slowly build up and it will be much better quality traffic for the long term.

Everyone has at some point used traffic exchanges to get website traffic.Well, you will get traffic but no sales or sign ups for your opportunity. This is all because everyone is trying to sell something and has the same affiliate page.No one is coming to a traffic exchange to look for information.

The only way I can think of using a TE is to have an optin page with a really excellent offer and a valuable bonus to collect names and email addresses. Then send the subscribers useful information and a product/affiliate program as a solution to their problem.

Here it is short and sweet folks...

Full time income online here thanks to sites like traffic exchanges.

It's the same at a traffic exchange as anywhere else:

1) Build your list
2) Offer something they want
3) Calculate your metrics

Refine your system so you can buy your TE credits. You'll never have to surf a page on a traffic exchange again and you'll enjoy traffic for life.

Yes I have tried traffic exchange sites and they do work.

When I first got into internet marketing it did feel like I was wasting my time at first but it all comes down to how to use it effectively.

I've learned that those exchanges which have a longer timer are somewhat better than those with small timers. The reason being is that with the websites you insert in these sites, if you use the traffic exchanges with long timers then other network marketers would stop by your site and say if you have a video or audio automatically playing then they spend more time listening to what you have to say. Rather than with the small timer it's literally like 5 seconds your video or audio won't be able to start.
Although it all depends on personal choice as well I personally use both because I'm posting my sites in different varieties of traffic exchange sites which is pretty effective.

I will pay you to make money online.

You can use Traffic Exchange traffic to a site you setup with
your YouTube video set to "autoplay" - even though Traffic
Exchange traffic is VERY poor quality the video views still
count (I think) and will make your video appear more relevant
and exciting to YouTube users.

Admittedly there are other ways to game YouTube "video views"
count, but this is just one way to use Traffic Exchanges so
your effort is not completely wasted. You can even put the
video down off the page so nobody sees it and try to get
an email lead with a free ebook or whatever at the top.
