Developer / Client Affliliate Agreement

Hey Warriors

I am giving thought to the pro's and con's of asking a client for the right to direct any purchases that are required for the project to affiliate links of my own.

Is this some immoral conflict of interest or is it just business as usual as long as all parties are aware of the deal?

What do you think?

    If I were the client, I'd probably be ok with this provided that:

    a) it was fully disclosed
    b) You would use the product most suitable for my needs, and only then, use your affiliate link for it if you have one. I'd want to know you'd avoid a conflict of interest.
    c) Would be a nice to throw me a bone and say offer 5% back for affiliate purchases...a win win.

      I think you should get paid for recommendations, provided they are good products and not just for the commission.
