Best way to grow Etsy Traffic

I am trying to find a way to grow traffic to an etsy store. Etsy currently uses their own search engine as well as integrates with Google's search engine. They work similarly but not the same. Currently the store's traffic is 95% etsy and about 5% google but the traffic is lower then I would like. Has anyone worked on growing an etsy store? Obviously original content is king but there really isn't a way to do that within etsy, short of adding more items to the store. Just looking for some guidance here.

    Are you doing social media? Don't know what your selling, but seems most etsy type stuff would be good to post in pinterest, instagram, ect. Would take time to get it going, but it sure can pay off.

    Social media is vital and would probably help you out, but it depends if you're looking for free or paid ways. You could try Adwords and run a campaign if you have a lot of money.

    Pinterest, Facebook Etsy shop link and Facebook pages/groups relating to the product and a blog about the product, are all helpful.

    As Etsy is for handmade goods, joining other handmade groups and pages on Facebook will allow you to post links to the Etsy shop. Keep the shop well stocked and write pieces on the community page for more exposure.

    Social Media Sharing, Related Forum Posting, Social Bookmarking, Blog Commenting, Guest Blogging are the best and free way to increase traffic. If you wish to spent some money you can use Adword or Facebook Ads.

    As someone who's had many friends sell on Etsy, displaying your products on instagram, tumblr, and pinterest seem to be the best methods. Of course you can do advertising, and tags, and all the other things, but sharing in social networks is probably the best free/simple option.
