Default Ordering TShirts for a seminar - suggestions needed

I am going to provide TShirts for the first 100 participants for a seminar I'm holding, but don't want the logistical nightmare of having everyone tell me their size.

So I'm wondering of those who have put on seminars in the past, how would you split up an order amount small, medium, large and xLarge?

I'm planning on not ordering any small since most folks could wear a medium. Given that, how would you split an order?

e.g.
80 large
20 xlarge?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

best,
--Jack

I'm pretty sure that some companies offer OSFA (one size fits all) models, which is basically not a medium or large but its a mix.. the cut of the shirt is also very generous to allow for different body frames, etc..

At Microsoft conferences I've attended, they just pass out all large.

It depends on the demographics of your attendees. Mostly men? Mostly women? Equal of both?

If it's mostly men, I'd do 80XL and 20 L.

Mostly women? 80 L, 20 XL.

Equal mix? 50 L, 50 XL.

I order shirts for men all the time for working in trade show booths and I've get to order anything less than a XL.

Women probably won't wear it except for yard work or to sleep in (sorry, but it's just the truth ) So it won't matter if it's a little too big.
