Starting an Sports Memorabilia site: Could it work

I am thinking about starting an online sports memorabilia store. Instead of drop shipping I would like to become an affiliate of two top memorabilia companies and promote their products through my site. I might start drop shipping once I have the resources in place.

    I don't see why not. As long as your site offers fresh quality content, then it could be a success.

    I would also use social networking for these types of sites. Try to create some viral videos and posts.

      That is a niche full of very passionate fans, many of whom are willing to spend a lot of money chasing down a memory or documenting an experience. I think it has a lot of potential!

    It could definitely work.

    What you could do is create a facebook page based on your website and get some cool old memorabilia pictures & create an ad targeting the older generation with a saying like "Click Like If You Remember This" or "Click Like If You Had One Of These" and you could spark some emotions and get some likes to your page.

    That is only one of the many ways you could possibly get some website visitors.
