Virus Attack

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi
I have just gone to my wordpress blog and found it has been attacked what it is showing is as followed:
your security has been passed by xxxx

It has a code and email attached but I do not want to show it just in case I infect this website.

What I want to know has anybody eles had this problem and how did they solve it.

Need urgent help!

First thing first. . .

Backup your database asap!

If it is WordPress, sometimes it can be as simple as a fresh install.

Then you can just restore your files.

That worked for me.

First of all, you should contact to your hosting company, I am sure they will suggest you what should you do.

thank you for your help and replys first I backed up my files through cpanel then I went to my hosting company and told them what had happened within two days they had it back up again what they said I was allowed 1 FREE virus attack per 6 months if it happened again within the 6 months I would have to pay a fee.

  Now you have a clean site, do another backup.
  
  It is possible the back up you did was of the virus infected site.
  
  Never rely on your hosting company. Use Cpanel to do a full tar.gz backup and download that to a memory stick or spare hard drive on a regular basis.
  
  You can never have enough backups
