Jobs While You Learn Internet Marketing

Hey folks,

I am once again looking for a job, and just focusing on learning and building a sustainable IM business on the side.

I know a lot of you are in the same boat.

For those of you who have transitioned to full time Internet Marketing, what jobs would you suggest we do while learning and building our internet empires on the side? It would be nice for a job to actually aid us in our internet marketing learning.

For example one of the jobs I applied for is to help write ebay listings for an ebay power seller with a pretty big operation. It's probably one of the few IM skills I actually have.

I've seen quite a few suggestions in the famous thread:
http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ate-index.html

I've also noticed people suggest micro jobs to post on Fiverr, such as:

Promote offers for people on your skin or clothing
Reviews of websites
Product testimonial videos
Narrating books or voice overs
Making videos of yourself singing happy birthday and the like
Manual blog comments
Youtube likes and comments
Facebook likes and commments
Narrating books or voice overs
Offering to hand out fliers for someone's business
Transcriptions of videos and audios
Writing articles

... another option would be to take photos of everyday life or landmarks and send into stock photo websites.

Any other ideas for those of us who've had more regular and sales oriented jobs could do that might teach us some IM skills while working for the man?

Are there any IM gurus or Warriors on this forum looking to hire folks here in America at minimum wage or above to use our English speaking or other advantages to do some basic IM grunt work? (i.e. basic Wordpress setup, site updates, research, articles writing, forum postings, etc)

Thanks,
Mark

Why don't you offer your services on Fiverr? Other than that you could take pictures and sell them on your newly create website which is easy to do if you can copy and paste. I have other ideas but those are the ones that stand out.

    Hope to speak soon

      Thanks Owen.

Have you or any of your friends ever sold photos directly from your own site? This actually sounds like a good idea, and there are lots of good nature photos to take here in Colorado. Seems like something to offer on Fiverr... I guess I need to just try it out...

But the family really needs me to get a full time income job pretty quickly. I'm trying focus on job-like income that starts right away... trying to avoid the car dealerships, McDonald's and Walmart, which are some common choices for people who need jobs right away.

Get a job doing whatever will pay the bills. Start building or learning list building. You can build your list slowly and for free. After a year you might be surprised at the number of subscribers you have.

Study successful marketers to learn how to convert subscribers to buyers. Stay focused and stay consistent with your efforts.

Apple has a work from home 'device support' position that you can apply for. Pays about $15 per hour and you can work in your underwear all day answering support questions for Apple device owners.

    Look it up.

I applied last year and got turned down. It might be because I have no Mac or Iphone experience... just PC and Android. But, it can't hurt to try again.

      Thanks,

As you said No harm in trying again
I think job at apple is the best option for you while establishing your online business.
        Good luck with it

I should imagine Apple would prefer it's support staff to have a slight clue how to use Mac and iphone, so I can see why you were turned down.

Try offering your services in the Warriors for Hire section, listing all the things you are able to do. I did that a couple of years ago and got some work.
