Let's Talk About Conversions

Get a good amount of traffic to my blog as well as comments to my posts , which is great. Even have people sign up through subscription form for my free report which has backlinks to a paid service. But hardly any conversions to any of the services I promote.

Anyone that gets consistent sales through monetizing their blog have tips to share? Currently 17M on Alexa, do I just need to keep promoting and posting regularly? Thanks. :confused:

    How much traffic are you actually getting per day? Your alexa rank is 17 million? That's incredibly low

    What is your blog about? Are you blogging about products and doing reviews?

    Conversion rates are actually quite low of most blogs so you really need to work on getting more traffic, and by more I mean a LOT of traffic. I find that blogs that focuses on reviewing products have better conversion rates, especially when most of the traffic comes from searching that specific item. Not to surprising really, since they most likely searched those terms with the intention of buying it.

    Blogs that revolves around a topic (weight loss, cars) on the other hand will have a harder time converting traffic into buyers. Placing ads would probably work better, but then again it's something you need to test on your own.

    Work on generating more traffic to your site. If you're traffic is low but you're still getting good conversion that's a really, really good sign. You just need to get more people through the door and test, test, test!
