My software uses Google Analytics and the Google Analytics API for eCommerse to do statistical tracking. My affiliate program tracks and pays my affiliates instantly at the point of sale.

I can also use my autoresponder as a tracking tool.

    Best regards,
    Steve Yakim

CPVLabs is great, but a bit complicated for the new person. If you want the simplest tracking tool to get started so you can focus on making money, hypertracker is good as well. We still use Hypertracker when we want to get quick links out.

Google Analytics works really well for monitoring and tracking stats on websites. You can track conversions on it as well, but I find it a bit hard to actually set up. There are also services that tracks specific links and its conversion rates, like our very own Linktrackr, but if you also want to track site traffic, perhaps you can take a look at improvely.

Thats exactly what I want to do.

I want to track specific links... for example I want to know where most my optins or sales are coming from.

What AD converting the best etc.

      Does Linktracr allow this ?

Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing is it self hosted?

It's completely web-based, so you don't need to host anything. Everything runs off from our servers. You do need to add conversion codes to your pages yourself though. We have a WSO running for it right now, I will PM you with the link

Google Analytics for everything. However I wish their sales tracking were a bit more accurate.

Not wanting to repeat what was already suggested, I suggest to have a look at Web Analytics in Real Time | Clicky - the heatmap feature can be really useful (it doesn't track clicks, it tracks real actions/movement).

In my opinion you should use more than one tool.
These are the best in my case:

    - Google Analytics ---> tracks what happens in your website
    - ClickMeter ---> tracks which marketing sources works better and convert more
    - ClickTale ---> show the behavior of your customers on your site (visulally)

Mostly, Google Analytics apps limit the functionality so much that you can’t get much more than the basics when you’re on the go.

So i would suggest to go with Clicky.com because its incredibly easy to navigate and the system doesn’t use any flash components so it’s easy to view from a mobile.

Fortunately, There is a plus point that there are also a number of plugins to make this process of tracking easy for you.

      Yeah that is

But if you are going to have a too much big website and have provided a lot of features to it then you will also need to track each and every features performance and i think there is some lack of info in the point

You need a different thing to try out results !

And if you have a small website with a fair traffic then Google Analytics can perform well
