Testing a 90 day product

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and new to all of this in general. I'm hoping some of you could help me directly or point me to some resources where I could find more information. Thanks in advance!

I've developed a 90 day program for a certain sport and I want to sell it on my website; however, I am unsure how to approach testing the program in the slightest. I've got a few main ideas of how to approach this, please tell me what you think!
  1. Send a link to the 'beta product' hosted on my site to a random couple hundred of my email subscribers and give them a private link to the product and testing forum and tell them they'll get 30% off the product when it comes out.
  2. Poll people on the emailing list if they want to test it and give them a private link to the product and testing forum.
  3. Split my incoming subscribers into two groups: those who I would try to sell the product to and those who I would try to get to test it.
  4. Offline product testing. The program is five days a week, so I think this one is going to be tough.

Does anyone know how popular programs such as P90X or other fitness programs tested their products? I tried emailing some of them but they don't seem to care for me, haha.

    Get a couple of different case studies of various different ethnic backgrounds.

    Document their journey with your product...

    Use their life-story as your testimonial.

    After you have this footage and content- and its a success...

    Everything else you mentioned above will come together easier than you think, plus a whole new insight into

      I agree that the testimonial will add a lot of value to my offer, but I don't want to be selling a product that simply doesn't work well. Perhaps I am missing the point? Please clarify. I want to be sure I'm delivering quality.
