Default weight loss ebook

Is an e-book about how I lost 35 lbs in three monts without excersizing, eating pills or just salad worth trying to get out to the masses? I know it works.
What would be the best method to market the ebook?

Show some real examples of pills to have for reducing weight.
Also give some examples of vegetables that help in reducing calories.

Absolutely this is a good idea...first you need a compelling website that grabs people's attention (35lbs in 3-months is certainly a good attention grabber, but is there more? What makes it believable? Do you have a before and after picture? Has anyone else around you used it to get similar results?)

Next, once you have the compelling website - you will want to quickly get some testimonials and capture some early partners to begin driving traffic to your ebook.

Another consideration - can you package this into a higher-end package? There are many $27-$37 ebooks, why not set yourself apart by offering a $97 or $197 "90-Day Weight Loss Home Study Package" where you include some extras such as a weekly planner, tips on staying motivated, a few interviews (get someone to interview you and ship the audio as an accompanyment to the written version), and perhaps a once-per month conference call where you introduce some new information and do a Q&A/Support session with your new customers.

BizzUK.
Sure they do, they are just not always the healthiest alternative. Vegetables absolutely reduce calories if they are replacing a higher calorie alternative. They'll usually add nutrient content as well. It really depends on how they are cooked. Load them up with butter, and they'll load you up with calories. I'm just lucky I don't really like butter!

The original post said
"without excersizing, eating pills or just salad"
so I think he meant NO pills.
Easily missed on first read so he should def get someone to check through sales page before uploading

1st question: maybe - if you are committed to doing
what it takes to compete in the super-lucrative, and
competitive weight-loss market.

2nd - Direct-response salesletter with a strong offer,
call-to-action, guarantee, reader-stopping headline.

Direct-response works great for selling this sort of product.
You'll need a ripping-good salesletter though because your
competition is tough.

If what ever you say is true than this is something everyone is looking for. So, all you need to do is make people believe that this is the real deal. If you say it has effected you then publish example of yourself with pictures and the way to get it.

Exactly. Super lucrative, but super competitive also. Wanted to emphasize this point...otherwise go for it!

I think the weight loss market is so lucrative because people are so desperate to find a way to lose weight without changing what they do (i.e. I don't want to eat differently, exercise etc etc). This is probably unrealistic, but it doesn't stop people from trying to find a way.

The bottom line is your eBook will no doubt appeal to some people.

Cheers, Lee.

People are lazy. This is why fatloss4idiots sold millions worth of copies last year. They want an easy solution without getting off their fat arses much. Plus people are scared of pills/.

Yes, thats why I think it will appeal. You dont have to sweat, strive and count calories. Just eat a certain diet which include lots of good food.
I am lazy, and forgetful so all previous attempts failed (pills, calorie counting, etc), but this method works for me and probably many more.
This diet put the body in a "state" and my waist decrease like h....
One day a week(saturday) I eat regularly without spoiling anything.
I just want to tell and explain the diet and body reactions, because it is fantastic.Just fantastic to finally see Im changing.
I have read much about nutrition and metabolism and can probably write dozens of articles right now.
The ebook could be written in a few days and I am comfortable with article marketing. so thats my plan; find some competitive keyword for my landing page, write lots of articles with anchor text links pointing to it.Of course blog comments, forum posts, ads and everything else I know of.
Hopefully rank well by google for some keywords in some months.
I dont know anything about emailing and all that.I am a newbie in many ways so my skills as a marketer is limited but hope to reach some customers here and there.

Yes, I have some "old" photos to use. The belly now is at least half of what it was.
This diet is not a revolution but it can be kind of hard to find good substitutes for those you have to keep away from. I have developed an easy and good list of food to eat and the ebook will be angled in a special way which I dont think any have done yet. So I hope and think that will trigger some sales in the future.
