Driving traffic to my site (for free)

Hey guys,

I just realized something: I need traffic, and lot's of it. So can someone provide me with a small tutorial, ebook or something, where i can learn to drive free traffic to my site.

Also if it includes some writing skills (and i have a feeling it will) can someone point me to some tutorials on good writing "how-to's"...

Hi,

My suggestion is to search it on the WF via Google like this:

site:www.warriorforum.com *traffic*

Just replace *traffic* with a few choice key words like 'build traffic', 'best traffic building methods' etc.

You'll have a handful of answers.

Write plenty of article to drive traffic to your site. Don't worry about the content starting off, just start writing, at least five a day, you do it for 30 days you will have a ton of traffic coming to your site..

Looks like you're going to need a website before traffic will do you any good.
You may want to get a little bit of text on your site with your keywords while you develop the rest of it. This way Google will have something to index.

Best free traffic building material has to be on the warrior forum daniel molano wrote an excellent thread on writing articles which is still the number one free method of building traffic to any site.

I have to agree! Article marketing is the way to go...The more articles you get out there, the more traffic you will get!

There is a recent thread on how write an article fast that is excellent! Follow his advice and you will be an article writing machine!

thanks guys. This has, as always been helpful. Just a sub question: On average, how much traffic do you get from articles. Are we talking something like 100 hits a day or more or less then that?

Of course there's SEO and PPC, but if you're sick of search engines, do social media.

If you have 500 followers and you can get 10% to follow your links, that's 50 people to your site each time you tweet. 50 people anywhere, for that matter.

I wrote an 2 articles and published them on Ezinearticles and in 1 month have gotten about 5 hits

, i think the point of article writing is not to get hits from the article, but to use the article for backlinks to increase Google pagerank and get on the first page of Google.

P.S. - I think you should watch Tiffany Dow's videos on "Organic Web Traffic" on YouTube, Tiffany is a cool guru and she's a WarriorForum person too!

yeah, that's what i taught... but i would like to get more hits with my traffic driving method....

once i finish designing my website i plan to write articles, post some of them on my official site blog, post some on EZA ,
post some on other article sites and do social bookmarking.

My main goal is to get about 100 visitors a week (for now) just so i can see where to improve my site and how to optimize it to get more people to sign up to my newsletter
I got some stuff from trafficology.com and I'm gonna apply some stuff from their lectures... and see how that works out.

I prefer to drive free traffic to my site as much as i can, i don't believe in paying for something that i can get for free... so that's is my main goal for now...
