Is anyone having "raving" success with these?

Has anyone tried split testing banners for clickbank products with these new text ads.

They're a great idea but as with anything i like to get the lowdown first

Matt - can't answer that as I have another question to add!

When you get the code from Clickbank for the ads - are they then set in stone or does Clickbank rotate them on your site?

I'm not sure, i imagine they are set in stone, but either way you have total control over the ads by the looks of it and you get bigger payouts than adsense so i think it's a lot better.

Matt - If you are referring to the "text ad builder" you don't have full control over what is displayed.

I've tested it on one newer site. The ads are in the general niche of the site but not at all targeted to the keywords and subniche of that site. Most of the ads tracked fine when checked - but one led directly to a "buy now" page that was not associated with CB??? Reported it - heard nothing back from CB.

I've had only one sale come as a result of that text ad - going to replace it with my own CB text ads and see if that works better. Haven't tried the tabbed one yet, though.

Edit: The one sale has now been refunded and one other item I noticed. The products chosen by CB to display in this ad are the lowest possible gravity (the ones I could find anyway). One of the titles displayed - as well as the pitch page - is embarrassing because the English used is so poor. It's not something I want displayed on my site.

I see, so it's probably better to create your own "adsense looking" ads if you're to take that route.

    Thanks for the info
