Forum for videos on WF?

INTERNET MARKETING

I was wondering if there is a section in this forum that actually allows people to upload videos? Would be a great addition to the forum wouldn't it?

I don't think it is necessary. There are already a lot of video forums elsewhere.

It would open the road to a lot of spam atempts, like watermarked videos and website references in the vids so I wouldn`t do it.

No arguments that the forum is already good as it is. However, for something like the Special offers forum, I think some people might have a more effective WSO if they could use a video. Spam exists everywhere and in everything and I think the forum is already taking care of that. It's just a .02 I thought about tonight tho

  You can already put Youtube videos in WSO posts. Outside of that WSO forum there is no other need for videos on this forum. Videos are not a good idea for forums because they have to be watched and can't be read. That's not what forums are about.

It would be nothing but a spam fest. You are not allowed to self promote in the discussion forums, so what would you possibly upload? Home videos?

I think it would be awesome. Let us start it right away. Most people are already familiar with watching video on you tube and vimeo. Certainly, this the next step for us.

I agree with you but the videos that are uploaded must be checked by the moderator, and spam videos must be deleted. It's a lot of work so new moderators must be hired.

i don't really see the reason for that. but maybe the admins would like to try it with only a topic that allows videos, with a limit per user and with captcha to avoid a lot of spam ...
