do you value being busy over being smart?

It's definitely a human trait. To be busy is good. How many people are comfortable with making say six figures with less than a couple of hours a day management? or even a 4 day week ,etc?

What I see is most people equate being busy, putting in a hard days work, with being a good business person. But, it's not true is it?

Making money, big money, has very little to do with being busy. It's about being smart, working out what works and scaling it.

Are you ever going to get rich selling $9 e-books/reports, etc? I seriously doubt it. But for many it pays the bills and keeps them busy, so they are happy.

Any input?

First and foremost to be millionaire it doesn't require only being smart but hard work is needed too. Secondly, I agree that you are never going to be millionaire selling $9 e-books, big money come from repeated sales from the same customers

Or..a couple of huge customers on repeat business. Much better business modul.

Most of you guys are stuck in the IM'ing mindset and will not entertain anything else.

    Good luck on that!

I feel that you have to busy in the early days in order to get to the stage where you can take your foot of the gas later.

Even then, you still work hard, it's just that you can look for smarter ways to do it.

There's nothing wrong with selling $9 ebooks and reports. It's where a lot of successful marketers got their start. You don't typically go from 0 to selling $3,000 coaching programs and high-priced live events.

It takes time, hard work, typically some struggling and failing and often some detours and dead ends before millionaires are made.

I really don't think most people value being busy. When you think about it, being busy takes no effort - anyone can have a busy day and get nothing accomplished. I see more people wanting to NOT be busy - working to get to the point of putting in fewer and fewer hours for the same or more income.

You do what you have to in order to secure the kind of life you want. Some get there sooner than others and some never make it.

I don't think it is a matter of being busy over being smart. I think it comes down to belief. People to what they believe they can do including selling $9 ebooks over $3k coaching programs.

It's imperative to make the distinction between being busy and being productive - though it partly depends on whether you've got more time than money or vice versa.
