Best System for Handling Affiliates?

Hello!

What system do you recommend for handling affiliates? I have looked into infusion soft and office auto-pilot, but both are rather pricey for what I am currently bringing in. Plus I only have a small number of affiliates right now. Are there are other systems out there you recommend?

Thanks!

If you just need an affiliate tracking system, try Post Affiliate Pro - they offer a reasonable monthly subscription. I use this and my only complaint is that I found the set-up process complicated.

I've heard positive things about Post Affiliate Pro as well. Another affordable solution is iDevAffiliate.

One with a solid reputation for accuracy and with features that boost conversion rates. For example... tracking by cookie, IP, coupon, and email etc. One with built in sales and billing automation including one click upsells and downsells. One that allows you to grow and scale your business and automate darn near everything.

One that is or can be built in with your shopping cart, billing, sales automation, subscriber management and content delivery systems.

One that makes you more money.

You mention you only have a small number of affiliates right now... you should not just be analyzing your current needs. That is a huge mistake... you should be looking to the future a future where you may need merchant account integration and a system that can handle thousands even tens of thousands of affiliates... and most of all a system that those affiliates trust and that can help you grow that affiliate program.

You should be looking for one with a shopping cart that converts. A cart that is fully customizable so that you can maximize your conversion rates.

Maybe I've got a firm grasp on the obvious, but why not clickbank?

Personally, I'd rather not spend time managing affiliates when there's already a company that specializes in it. Once you have enough to where the managing becomes time consuming, you should be making enough to hire an affiliate manager.

      I could give you a $million reasons...

But here are my top 3:

Lower conversion rates right out of the box with their checkout vs other platforms.

Notoriously unreliable affiliate tracking through the years and slow response to address those issues.

      Outrageous transaction fees.

I guess it is hard for us to really give you good advice without knowing what you are doing? Is this for a membership type site? Are you using something like Warrior Plus, JVZoo or Clickbank or just doing it through your website?

For example, with me, here is several ways I would handle it.

Membership site - If just using PayPal, i use DAP which has its own affiliate program but have also used Warrior Plus and will use CB on one product. One platform with three + different affiliate programs.

E-commerce cart - some come with an integrated affiliate program, others you can plug in through like others have said, post affiliate pro and others.

Using wordpress and woo commerce (shudder)? I am pretty sure woo commerce has a affiliate plugin that works with woo commerce.

Give us a little more information and we can try and help you out more.

I'd like to recommend jrox becauase it is free if you have 50 or less affiliates. if your affiliates reached the limitation, you can pay for the licence and then it will remove the limitation. Just one thing in mind, because it is free, the support is limited.

I use profits theme and they have a new affiliates handling thingy. You set up your product on your theme and it has a special plugin to handle your own affiliates selling your products.

Probably an option only if you're at enterprise level, comes with $300 monthly fee.

    Hi,

Warrior Plus has always done a great job for me.

I've never had any complaints from affiliates about receiving payments
    or anything similar.

Check it out as it may save you a lot of time and money investment on the other
    options you've mentioned.

I will be launching a self hosted content management system that has a Hybrid PayPal API that I created and PayPal has approved.

It pays affiliates, partners, brokers and managers instantly at the time of sale. Since it is a hybrid API, I was able to add a bunch of extra security to protect from the fraudsters. It monitors every sale.

It will do digital products as well as services and physical products.

I've been working really close with PayPal on this new API and one of the bonuses I will be able to offer is probably worth more than the software.

The bonus is access to your own personal PayPal representative who you will be given a direct phone number to. If you are using the software, your PayPal rep will be able to prevent your account from being banned, frozen, limited or any other restriction.

Even if you have been banned, you will be able to get your account back. I wish I could sell this bonus, but I can't.

I even have testimonials for the bonus because it is such a powerful bonus.

We have been able to help several big marketers out and one well know affiliate network that had their account limited that has been mentioned several times in this very thread.

We are able to do this because the software works so well. When was the last time you saw a software that had a probation membership level. The affiliate, partner or anyone else that breaks the rules will find themselves in probation and not get paid for any sales.

But sorry, it will not be available until late July.

    Best regards,
    Steve Yakim
