How to promote betting systems?

Hi!

I have started to promote various clickbank products. I`m am really into betting systems myself, so I this is the thing that I would like to promote.

I allready have had some success by spamming and explaining systems in Latvians social network Draugiem.lv, but it seems that I have squeezed everything out of it now.

I also have been testing 7search. Maybe I made one search, but I didn`t have tracking properly set up and I was lost all my deposited 25$ before analysing any results.

Best thing is that I am selling product that is working and I have made good money myself with it. But as gambling industry has started to disrespect Latvians, it is not usable anymore. Now I want to promote this product.

Have you any ideas how to do this? Have you ever promoted any gambling related products and where?

It can be a very profitable and productive niche, for the long term, if (and only if) you can build an email list of people who trust you (and preferably haven't seen before too many times the products/services you're promoting).

This forum isn't the right place to discuss that. :p

Here are four threads which will help you quite a bit, if you read them carefully.

      Thanks for your reply.

Looks like I`ll have to start build my own list. "List" is the most common answer in everything that I have read that makes money.

What do you say about buying a list from others? I have searched for gamblig related lists and there are some even with 15k emails.

Again, thanks for your reply and translation suprise!

I have tested 7search a few time and never had very good luck. It is easy to lose your money on that site.

Did you promote betting systems? Have you promoted anything from "make money online" field with success?

With apologies, I don't disclose my niches; please excuse me.

If you want to make any steady money from affiliate marketing in that kind of niche, yes. To put it mildly.

I say that it's a waste of time and money.

I say that it won't work very well at all.

I say that you won't be able to email the list using an autoresponder service anyway, because they won't let you import it.

I say that if you try to do that using a self-hosted autoresponder, you'll be risking your own internet connection and hosting and domain-registration, when people hit the "spam" button - and some will.

The value of your list is that they're people who chose to hear from you, who respect you, who trust you. It's all about their perception of who you are. That's the whole point.

That doesn't happen if you buy the list. :p

LOL, yes, so I imagine. Maybe 5,000 out of those 15,000 were once real emails from real people. Maybe 1,000 out of those 5,000 are still attended and checked. Maybe 200 out of those 1,000 will go into the inbox rather than to "spam"/"junk"/"bulk". Maybe 10 out of those 200 will open it. Maybe 3 out of those 10 will read it rather than just thinking "what's this spam?". Maybe 1 out of those 3 will click on the link (but probably not). :p

How many emails just like yours do you think those people have seen?!

Respectfully (really!), if you didn't learn this yet, you should probably stay well away from any "make money" niches.

The thing that's certain about "make money" niches is that there'll be a lot of competition, and some of it will comprise some of the best, most experienced and most successful affiliate marketers, who will all be competing with you for the same traffic. (You're a betting man, I think? Who is your money on, to win that competition? ).

Thank you - you also. I have a good friend from high school who now lives in Riga, but my knowledge of the Latvian language ran out after the previous post.

I used to promote them on Adwords. My very first PPC campaign I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and I made 800% ROI. If I'd understood PPC then Im sure that would have increased.
But now they don't allow you to promote anything as an affiliate (easily) and certainly not gambling products, betting systems etc,. Maybe see if you can buy banner ads on gambling forums.
