Adding a download to an autoresponder

Dear Warriors,

I'm making an autoresponder for my members so if they sign up they will get a free ebook in their email.

I was wondering: where do you upload your freebies to? I have getresponse and I don't see I can upload the file to their servers.

How do you go about this?

Looking forward to your replies!

Getresponse is just an autoresponder. You need to get a hosting account, domain name and then you can upload your freebies to your site on your server.

An autoresponder does not allow you to upload anything.

    Hi Yakim,

Thanks for your answer! Do you mean uploading to the server of my own website (I already have hosting for my own website) or do I have to get a completely new server?

Use your existing website to upload the free products.

Then you just give the link to the free product in your email message in your autoresponder.

I hope this has been helpful,

You will need hosting for that.If you don't have hosting you can use can create a Dropbox account, put the book in a zip file ,upload the zip file to dropbox and get the share link .Email this link at 0 day in your Getresponse auto responder sequence to your prospect to receive the free eBook. I hope this helps.

You can not do that through Getresponse.

What you can do is to get your own website and create that file there for people to download.

I host mine either on my hosting or my amazon s3 server. Then I link to it in the first follow up email.
