any tools and software that help product creation?

im not too sure about good soft ware or tools but you can try to get PLR products, rebrand and resell them as your own..save time and effort

There are lots of really cool free tools out there, but I have to say that I work on a PC and I do like the Microsoft Office Suite and the Adobe suite as well.

Both used to be very expensive, but now come as monthly subscription.

You can now get Office 365 for up to 5 PC (will install a Mac as well now I believe) for just $9.95 US per month, which I think is pretty decent for a suit of professional tools.

You also get cloud based file sharing and some Skype credit with the subscription (covers me for all the calls I need to make to people outside of Skype).

The Adobe Creative Cloud is a little more expensive, but you get a lot of apps and a lot of power for a reasonable monthly cost.

I use Photoshop heavily and creating PDFs using the originators tools. I know, you can do that for free, but I also make things like interactive forms and more complex PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat and still see it as great value.

I'll leave it up to others to talk about the free apps that are available (and there are plenty of great options there as well)

i have been developing my own custom software. been using visual studio and php. when done i will be offering it along with my books and courses. you can always go to elance or odesk and get something custom made or get the free version of visual studio and play around.

Personally I would either create your products from scratch or hire people to create them for you. Quality is everything when it comes to products. If the quality is not there then you won't get repeat buyers. Most PLR I have ever come across has been pretty ordinary in quality. Obviously there is the exception to the rule but nothing like having your own unique product created from scratch.

Most of the time I use a spreadsheet for my outlines - it allows me to shift things around, add extra bits when I need them, etc.

I also change the cell colour &/or add an extra column with a "y" in it when I've done that section. And I use another column for notes such as any resources URLs I want to include.

It's not very high tech but works for me

The best investment a product creator can make is Microsoft Office 365.

Seriously. Office 365 has some very snazzy templates for ebooks (literally thousands of badass templates), and the new powerpoint is epically badass.

So, if you want to create videos, the powerpoint can make it look awesome.

And, if you want to create eBooks, the new word has some truly epic templates.

(Templates over everything man).

PLR can be great as a "base" for your info-product. And you can create pdfs with Word now, which is great. I use my old PLR products as templates for my info-products and sales pages.

It is not clear to me what that product does but for organizing my thoughts and creating finished products I have done fine with LibreOffice, which is 100% free. Be sure to use styles and customize them, but more important, learn its outline mode. These two features together help you create a well-defined product but also to change your mind and move sections around with minimal or no maintenance required. It spits out beautiful PDFs at modest file size.

May not be an answer to your question, but for Kindle ebook creation, I use "Jutoh" from Anthemion software.

You should consider taking your game up a notch.. don't just do info products. Give them information but also build otu the resources they need.. things like calculators, back offices with functionality to help them along the way. The future of the informational business is not the information itself but the resources that comes available with it. Think of it like when the books came out with the resource CD in the back.. thats the future.. but not downloadables anymore.. things that are cloud. For example.. "How To Make Money With Online Resume Business".. with a bonus.. your own member driven resume building tool online that you can instantly sell to customers!
