Market Samurai KeyWord Choice Help

Hi!,

I would really appreciate a little help with Market Samurai as I have am new to Affiliate Marketing. I have joined and bought Market Samurai to choose and analyze keywords.

I am good at thinking of niches I have an interest in and also generating key words associated with these Neiche's. However I am struggling to weed out out the good keywords from the bad keywords in terms of SEO competition and search volume requirements for a particular neiche.

In summary any advice on the following would be excellent

Regarding Market Samurai once I have selected keywords and analyzed them what should I look for in terms of seotc, search volumes,seouc and anything else?

having watch videos on Youtube I have been told

seotc should be 1000 or lower
Low seotc and low seouc is also good
higher seotc and low seouc is also good.

Is this correct?


Also when building a niche with keywords there is clearly a payoff in terms of the amount of traffic needed to make the site viable and the competition for that keyword. in trying to get it onto the first page in Google.

Could you

1) recommend how many keywords would you look for promoting when first starting out with a niche

2) what the total and individual traffic search volume you would look for in the keyword phrases to make the niche viable in terms of potential traffic?

3) What to look for in terms of seotc, seouc, and anything else in Market Samurai to minimise my competition.

I hope this make sense.

    Jahm, in my opinion yes it's good, but there is no exact formula to say this is correct, it's all depend on your seo skill level to rank the site.

    1- 10 good keywords
    2- Look for exact search more than 500 search/month, if you can find 1000search/month than it's very good to go with...
    3- It depend on the level and skill you have to rank your website after looking at the competition level I assume you are confartable with 1000 seotc, so you can try low completion with good search volume.
    -Type in google dot com your keyword with quote (i.e "weight loss management ")
    See the result and go with 50. 000 result or less. The less result you find the better chance you have to rank your site.
    -Type in google dot com again the same keyword but this time with this comment
    -Type in the search: Allintitle: "weight loss management" if the result is 1000 or less than it's good to go, again this also depend on your seo skill level...
    -Type in the search: Allinurl: "weight loss management" if the result is less than 1000 it's good to go, again this also depend on your skill level seo...

    In term of seotc look at the exact search result less than 1000, instead of going through the procedure 3. shown above, market samurai help you to get the result faster.
    In term of seouc look at the exact search volume less than 1000

    So in general, I would advice you to go with:
    -Keyword exact search less than 50.000 (with quote)
    -Allintitle: less than 5000 (allintitle replace seotc in market samuari)
    -Allinurl: less than 5000 (allinurl replace seouc in market samurai)
