"Secret" / Great Affiliate Marketing Strategies

I recently wrote down some great strategies to up the conversion on my affiliate marketing. Please add your successful strategies or helpful tips.

Offering a bonus:
  • Offer a bonus that adds value to the product you are promoting. This can be a PLR/MRR product, one of your own, a related interview/teleseminar etc.. Make sure that you label the bonus with a price value; $197 Value etc...
Use camtasia to give an 'inside look':
  • Offer a video where you use camtasia to show how the product looks like on the inside. A sneak peak and some good listing of features is all you need.
Know the product:
  • More of an overall rule then a strategy, but still important. It is so much easier to sell a product that you are familiar with, then something you only have a general idea about.
  • It easily shines through if you don't know much about the product you are promoting, especially if you are doing a video. If you don't want to spend the money, you might be lucky and find other honest reviews which can provide you with the inside knowledge you need.
So, what do you think? Please add your own comments, and throw in your own super duper strategies

Allan Says gave a *fantastic* idea years ago. Focus your review/article/video on the actual benefit rather than the product, then mention at the end that the product lets you do this.

For example, if you were promoting an app to get more Twitter followers, you could put together a video that reveals 5 easy ways to increase your followers. Make it informative. SHow how you do it. Then at the end explain the easiest tool you have found to accomplish these steps is x. It works brilliantly. But then, what else would you expect from Allan?!

    All the best,
    Richard

Great tip, Richard! Exactly the kind of information I was looking to add to my list.

Will try it out with a couple of videos today, and mass submit them
