Newbie Would appreciate any help!

Hello, I am a long time lurker, first time website developer, and first time trying to monetize a website, I have started a website in the medical marijuana niche, growing guides, room setups, headshop reviews etc.

I am currently just trying to build views to my website, i have had 240 Unique views, my website has only been up for 3 days, I am trying to learn S.E.O information, im mostly just having alot of information overload,

I would really appreciate if anyone could give me any tips on SEO for my niche, and also any ways to monetize it. I currently use 420 clicks which has generated 2.45$ in the past 3 days which is great!! It has me very enthusiastic. I would appreciate any help, Anything would be great. Dont have to walk me through just maybe some tips from some pros would be great

    If you have clicks on your site, start to build a list.

    2nd, don't make SEO your only option. Try to find other sources of traffic and don't be scared to pay for ads.

    Cool, nice to see you are already finding success. But, really try to take care of that information overload. Focus on doing more of what's working. It looks like you already found something that's bringing you in some money so why not focus on doing more of that?

    SEO is cool. But there are much faster ways to get targeted traffic in my opinion. If you're not promoting a product of your own or affiliate products I suggest you do that aswell.

    I would consider adding podcasting to your list of traffic sources.. Your market is under represented in iTunes and should be approved just fine... There is 70,000,000 active members on iTunes and it's growing faster than Amazon.

    My first 4 weeks live and I already went over 1000 uniques.. Tell me blogging or content could do that on a new site! No way..

    If your just getting started.. I would not recommend doing a blog in that manner. Be innovative and get with the times.. go with a pure video blog and do it TV style.. plus your pitching this to old potheads that may never used the Internet before but are now growing green for dollars.. they might engage in video a little better then reading. (and no thats not a crack to potheads, although that might be a good crackpot play on words).

    Find forums about your nich and when appropriate post about your site there maybey to an article or a video you have.
