Anyone Know How To Do This With Google Hot Trends?

Hi Guys

I was wondering if anyone knows how to set up some thing like this:

Create an email alert to get notified when a niche keyword appears on and only on 'Google Hot Trends'

any ideas on how to get this set up?

I am currently arms deep trying to find a decent email alert for an rss feed and simply pull the data from google to a blog and do it that way.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for or not... but you may like this Pipe I created:

Pipes: Google Trends

You can get that pipe's result in an RSS feed and monitor it that way.

You mean the pipes link above doesn't work? I click on it and don't have a problem.. What do you see when you click on it? I may have to make the pipe public hmm..

The rss link of that pipe is messed up though I just noticed, after some time today I will look at getting that fixed and get back to you if you're still interested.

Its working now, did you set that up to monitor IPhone? if so thats perfect. Certainly an easy way of doing it!

Actually I wasn't going to publish it yet, I was going to include it in an advanced version of Rogue RSS Profits. But things came up and life is hectic so I thought I would share it now. I'm moving in less than a month (just bought a house) so busy busy!

Like I mentioned earlier, I'll try to repair the RSS feed of that pipe later on and update this thread for those of you who want the RSS link.

I think Gmail can do a lot here. Isn't it. I give mail alert for some news and when that news or that type of news appear in the google they give me alert.Is it what you are talking about?

No, only when it appears on google hot trends. That way whenever any ything reltie to your niche comes worth blogging about for instant traffic you get notified. I already use google alerts for a more diluted version.
