150 Hot Niche Articles and I don't know what to do with them! Advice, Please!!

I have well over 150 PLR articles for a hot niche that I don't really know what to do with. For the past several months I've been lurking around the WF reading and taking in soooooooooo much information 'til I think I'm now suffering from information overload. Pretty confused.

But one method for making money that I keep coming across that many Warriors claim they have success with is starting a blog and writing articles to submit to ezinearticles, etc. where the articles link back to the blog. I've been contemplating doing this for some time now but never got started, because to me, it all sounded so complicated.

And with all the information and tips I've gathered from this forum I'm pretty confused as to how to put this altogether or where to start.

First of all, is it best to create a blog rather than build a website? I'd prefer to build a website, because I've heard others mention that for a blog you'd have to constantly add new content. Am I wrong about that?

With a website I can build it up to around 100 pages or more and then scale it down, maybe adding fresh, new content once a week or every two weeks or something like that.

My thing is that I wouldn't want to have to keep responding to comments posted on my blog or having to update it daily or every couple of days. I'd like to be able to just add relevant content to my website when I want to.

Another thing, what should I do with 150+ articles, put them all on my website or just put some on the site and use the others to submit to article directories? (Oh, I will be re-writing all of them so that they'll be unique.)

I've read that some people are having success with a 1 page blog or website while consistently writing and submitting articles to directories that link back to their site. But I've also heard others say add valuable content regularly (Content is King) to your blog or website instead, then to also write articles to submit to directories. I would think that adding more content by putthing those articles on my own website would work best as far as creating value and ranking well at Google.

Any advice on this? Help, anyone?

Sorry for such a long post, but I try to be as specific as I possibly can.

    Hi Supergirl (Great Name)

Before you jump in with what to do with the articles consider this.

Do you have a business plan?

There is no point using the articles anywhere until you have a plan of action that they can fit into.

If the niche is HOT then are there any products you can sell as an affiliate? Or perhaps you are an expert in the field and have your own product.

But to answer on of your questions. Rewritten plr will be ok for some things but try writing some high quality content of your own and keep this on your own website/blog. You can build a website as a blog. a blog is a website after all.

Sorry to give you more questions than answers - you need to build a business - not just use articles in a haphazard way

      Hi Kenj,

I thought this was a plan of action by building a website in this niche and submitting articles to directories.

There are a few affiliate products in this niche, one in particular that I'd like to promote. And I do plan to write some of my own articles to put on my site and to submit to directories too.

I guess I need help with figuring out if I should put the articles, including my own, on my very own website or should I put up a one pager then submit all the articles to directors to drive traffic back to my site.

I'm thinking that many of those 1 page or even 5 or 10 page websites/blogs just don't last long out there. They may rank well in the beginning, depending on the niche and other factors, but in the long run, I just don't think they'll survive very long without continuously adding valuable content.

I don't know though. It's just my opinion.

But anyway, this is a really hot niche that I know a little about. I'm no expert by all means. And I would like to build a website around this niche, but need a little guidance. Submitting articles would just be one way to drive traffic to the site. Since I'm just starting, I thought article/bum marketing would be a simpler way for me to begin building.

      Thanks!

    Hi Super Girl,

Business plan is very important. At least it will give you a direction to go.

I'd start a wordpress blog and use some of the articles to make a couple pdf reports. Add a few affiliate links into the reports. Include your blog domain in your reports. Give free giveaway rights to these reports to help them go viral.

I'm guessing you have the plr articles because you have decided to market within that niche.

Add an opt in box to giveaway your free reports for their email address. Start building your list. Add an RSS feed on your blog site. Whenever you add an article to your blog people will be notified.

Since you are going to rewrite your PLR articles rewrite them for your blog posts.

You should put your free report links into your signature. Also put your blog domain link into your signature.

Go to the various forums of the niches you are marketing... then help people. Make sure you add your links to your blog and free reports.

You will need to put some effort into your business. Unfortunately their is no magic wand.

But you can have a lot of fun making money.

    Just a few thoughts.

    Have a great week.

    Best Regards,

    Jim

That's a good idea Jim. I'm just starting out too and the roll out is so important to think about...your articles, Super Girl, will serve you well. Have you thought about packaging them and selling as a PLR file?

      Hi Jim,

Thanks for your input. Just one question and I hope this doesn't sound dumb. If I were to create a couple of free pdf reports, how do I market them or get people to sign up for them? Would they sign up at my website? Sorry, but this stuff is new to me.

      Thanks!

    Hi Super,

Your question doesn't sound dumb. It's just that I don't know what you know when I answer your question.

    Hope that made sense.

How do I market them or get people to sign up for them? Would they sign up at my website?

    1. Add an opt in box on your blog to giveaway your free reports for their email address.

    2. Go to various forums that would be interested in your niche. Create a signature file and include it with every post you make on those forums. Help people with your posts. Offer your free reports to them in your signature file. When they click your links they will be taken to your blog with the free reports optin box.

    3. Put RSS feed on your wordpress blog. That way every time you make a post feedburner will let everyone know you have added a new article which draws traffic.

These videos will show you How to fully install FeedBurner on a WordPress blog. It will show how to redirect default WordPress feeds to your FeedBurner feed, set up email subscription, and set up a FeedBurner account.

I'd locate info on using plr and exploit the content to the max.

But do take some time to map out a plan.

Here's a free video course on plr by a fellow warrior.

You can both use the PLR articles on your website/blog and use them for submitting to article directories. Make sure that you are rewriting.
