Looking for credit card company!

Dear WF entrepreneurs,

I'm looking for a way to accept credit cards both online and off that's cheap. Anyone have any ideas of how I can accomplish this?

Thanks so much for the help in advance.

God Bless,

ELMO

World pay is good, owned by Royal Bank of Scotland in UK.

Can even accept Paypal without having an account and accept payments worldwide.

PayPal is great to accept credit cards online. Check out SquareUp.com if you want to accept credit cards offline or over the phone.

    Check out MerchantRebateProgram.com

They offer a lowest rate guarantee (starting at .39% & cash back), free equipment for offline and a 25% monthly rebate on your merchant fees.

You can get a free rate quote and monthly rebate quote. It is for US based accounts only.

First of all, Thanks and shout-outs to Richard, AmericanMuscle, Alexa, Drew, & Advertise!

I was in a bit short on my description this morning because I was in a rush. I will be accepting government contracts, so the closer I can get to a cheap alternative of accepting credit cards, the better off I'll be. I can't use the square thingy, because I don't have one of those fancy phones that use those. (Like an I-Phone).

I've already tried Paypal and others, but the government people are saying "no dice" those options. So if there are any merchant services out there that are very inexpensive, please let m e know.

    Thanks again!

What you are going to need then is a traditional merchant account with a wireless card reader. Yes, govs won't allow Square or PayPal. If you want to connect that to a website, then you need to budget for a shopping cart (could be free), authorize.net and an SSL certificate and dedicated IP address.

Here are the places to look, compare the prices and go from there. Run your numbers on your average monthly billables in a spreadsheet to find the best deal.

Costco/Sams Club - if you are already a member, see what they can offer. You might be surprised at what rates and monthly fees they can provide to you.

Local Bank - They tend to be less competitive on rates for smaller provider, especially for authorize.net plus the online portion still scares the bejesus out of them. Expect high PCI compliance fees.

Online Merchant Provider - There are several out there that can provide you great rates, good pricing on card readers and low cost authorize.net pricing. If you want the link to my guy, just message me.

Well then. They probably won't be swiping a card. They will be paying with credit card by batch process. Or...more than likely they can ACH the money directly into your account. I bet they offer that and it is probably your best option.

They cut costs by using the electronic transfer of money instead of paper checks. They do it by either credit card or ACH.
