Kevin Rileys Traffic Generation Cheat Sheets ... Could it get me 100 UV per day?

Hey everyone, Ive been doing the IM thing for about 5 months now, and got most everything down. But still have had no luck getting visitors. I get about 20-30 visitors per day, not unique visitors mind you, probably about 5-10 unique visitors per day.

I was looking at jeff johnsons underground training lab, but it was too expensive. There are a couple on ebay, but they wont accept a money order (i dont have that much money in paypal!)

So I looked around on the forum and found Kevin Riley! His cheat sheets are only $50, they seem very good. I am very cautious and like step-by-step, and from the videos on his site, it seems that that is exactly what they are.

I am happy I found his site, as Kevin seems like cool guy, (reminds me of Trigger from Only fools and horses, only the english here will know who that is!)

So my question is, to all of you who have used these cheat sheets, do you think I could eventually get 100 unique visitors per day to my site?

I know that niches, keywords and everything else affect this, but is this a realistic expectation.

Thanks,
Ashley

    hey...
ask yourself what are you doing now that is getting 10-20 visitors a day?
and DOUBLE UP...do more of those...

focus on using 2-3 strong ways to get traffic...

    my best results have been:
    - article marketing (ezinearticles)
    - video marketing (youtube)

and i only submit to those 2 only...unlike some people submitting content to
10+ sites...i usually just focus on those 2...

i get 200+ unique visitors a day for one of my niches doing article & video marketing...nothing fancy...but it works...

getting 100 unique visitors is definitely possible...

    Hi Ashley,

To be honest, I haven't seen Kevin's cheat sheet. I normally feel justified recommending Kevin's stuff even if I haven't seen it, because what I have seen has been absolutely top notch.

In this case, I did go through his Traffic Generation workshop that was hosted here on the forum. I believe the cheat sheet product offers a system similar to that class. I believe that it can get you to 100 uv/day, with the obvious caveat about niches, keyword selection, and work ethic.

    Hope that helps,
    Another Kevin

Just do article marketing to start off with. You have to take it seriously. Get 200 articles up at Ezinearticle. Then pick the top 20 articles that have the best CTR. And build links to those 20 articles to start off with. I have just started off in a new niche about 3 months. Strictly doing this method. No other traffic generation method. And i am getting about 210-230 UV's a day. The traffic is targeted and long lasting. good luck. The warrior has all information you need for free, all you have to do is implement it. Just have a go.

Article marketing works well for sure, but make sure you pick keywords you can dominate in google right away. But have the traffic of at least 100 searches a day, I would say! And like less then 6000 direct competition " intitle: " your keyword" in google!

    maverick8,

i love that idea of picking the top 10% of your Ezinearticles articles (that get highest CTR)...and then building links to those top 10% of articles...that's a very good idea...

by the way, by building links, where specifically do you post those top 10% EA articles?

    thanks...

      Hey BJ,

You can build links to your articles from:
-other articles directories. Spinning articles and submitting them to other article directories, with the link in the article pointing back to the EZA article.
-Forums. Making posts in forums with your article link in your SIG or profile.
-social bookmarking sites. Pretty self explanatory.

        Thanks for the replies!

So it seems the general consensus is that I dont need any ebook or software to get 100 unique visitors per day. That just article, video, forums etc are enough.

I have to admit out of everything, i have spent the least amount of time on traffic.

I have only written about 3 articles! I also have 2 videos out there, on youtube and some other sites.

I actually have about 15 more videos that I am uploading as I type, and I also have about 10 more articles that are on my desktop waiting for me to put them out there.

So thanks! I am going to push along with what I got, see if I can get my UV count up before I go off buying stuff. The reason I was drawn towards kevins and jeffs stuff was because it was "free" traffic, but actually just article and video marketing is free traffic!

        Thanks again

By the way, I used tubemogul to upload to about 7 video sites. Do you think there is any problem with ALL of the videos having the same titles and descriptions?? I have certain videos for certain keywords, so I am talking more about duplicate content, ie 7 videos with all the same descriptions ... Thanks

I've only had the privilage of purchasing a couple of his products. They are excellent.

If there was only one source that you could economically tap into at this time...I would highly reccommend Kevin's cheat sheets.

I also know that if you have a problem understanding any part of his products...just PM him...he'll get his hamsters right on it.

Hey Debra, I actually went to his profile to pm him with a question, about whether it was a digital ebook or physical, but could not find the "send message" button.

But anyways, I am going to follow what everyone told me and get as much as I can out there, then once I get a higher count I am going to get kevins cheat sheets!

      Thanks!

    ashley,

forget about the videos having same titles...you only get 100 submissions with tubemogul i believe...so just get that out of the way...and focus on youtube...and next month, do tubemogul again...

as far as duplicate content for videos, i dont see a problem with it...it really doesn't seem to affect me in video searches...in fact, i see lots of videos from different sites...

also...if you try to change description, text, title for each video submission, it's going to take forever...don't focus on the little details...just focus on MOVING FORWARD...just focus on mass submitting using tubemogul...just do it...and roll it out...

    cheers

Hey thanks, I didnt realize you could only do 100 submissions per month. I was just about to blast out my videos with a few times each with different keywords, I am going to rethink and make sure i dont go over or cut it too close!

Sure article marketing works as long as you have an action plan and follow it consistently.

The consistently part trips most folks up cuz we all like shinny, new objects.

I keep going back and forward about buying this. But decided to go ahead and get it. It seems that his strategy involves articles, blogs, videos etc. So, for $50 it seems like a steal, especially after hearing all the comments about his products!

Plus as I said before, I love to do things step-by-step, and everything I bought so far that was promoted as "step-by-step" was not. But from what I have heard, his stuff truly is step-by-step. Which excites me!

I was surprised to find out he does that private forum! I had no idea it was him, so that probably speaks a lot about his stuff!

Thanks again, will let you all know how it goes!

Thanks for all the info generated by your question. It helped me a lot as I need to generate traffic, which in my case is non existent. I feel like I've built a store at the very end of an abandoned mall.
    Again thanks for the info.
