hi,

i'm wondering what do you do with niches that you don't
have much interest in but has good profitability...

what's your strategy on how to make money in that niche
without putting too much time & energy into it?

the reason i say this is because i have a whole list
of ideas that i haven't done anything with because
i'm just focusing on my main niches that i do have
an interest in...

...but i also have an "Ideas list" where i jot down
ideas throughout my day...and i still have ideas that
are good ideas...good unique niches that i could
possibly do something with...

my first inital idea was create some kind of autoblog (still looking
for a course that shows how to do this but i heard there
is some plugin called caffeinated blog that does it for you...anyone try..
if so...what is your results)?

i think creating an ebook and selling it would
be a lot of time to do this...although it may work...

i really think autoblogging is the best way for a niche
you may not have much interest in...

what other ideas do you guys have?

thanks
BJ

If I have no interest in the niche I outsource EVERYTHING about it so I don't have to research and write on the topic. I have some pretty BORING blogs that make quite a bit of money, so don't pass them up just because you have no interest.

The best option is to outsource
to an expert of a good unique niche
    idea you have.

Another way is to do the grunt work
yourself. Educate yourself on the niche
subject. This way you have a better
understanding of the niche and be
    able to answer questions professionally
from your list if you have one.

    Remember, your relationship with
your subscribers is what make you
    money in the long term

    Hey BJ,

I have a blog with Caffeinated Content installed on it. I completely automated the blog and scheduled a few dozen posts.

The result: my blog is now hovering around 6th and 7th on Google for one of my keywords. It's not doing as good for many of its other keywords because I never scheduled any posts for those keywords.

With CC, it's best to only use shorter keywords so that the plugin can return relevant content.

The problem with CC and other autoblogging services is that you're not really providing value. Sure, the posts that CC gave me were surprisingly well written, but it wasn't mine. If I could do it again, I'd have filled it with unique content written by me or by someone else if I didn't like the topic very much.

Build it. Mature it. Rent it. Flip it.

Another tactic is to find an existing site, beef it up, then keep it or sell it.

I agree with those who said to outsource it.

If you really don't have interest in it, and then you try to write the content, most people will be able to tell that you just don't care about it. It makes for quite a boring read for the site visitor (although, like Amy said, there are some mighty boring blogs out there that are still making some money).

Flipping is also another great option.

But if you decide to keep the blogs/sites that you really aren't interested in, once you put in the initial effort to get them off the ground (which takes the most effort of all when you look at the big picture), you can get your system down to a science, spending only a little time each day or each week on that topic. So it's not like you would need to immerse yourself in a topic that you can't stand.

yes, i understand outsourcing is the best...but i was wondering what is the easiest way...blogging or ebooks or etc...from your own experiences...

maybe there is no easy way...because i guess you got to stick with what you are good at...so even if you don't like a niche...make ebooks if that is your specialty...

make blogs if that is your specialty...etc

although i am very interested in the autoblogging thing...it just seem so much easier...just make money from adsense pretty much...
