How to make more money with blogging

As we all know, blog is a great way to express your feelings, to showcase your knowledge, to get people's attention, and of course, to sell stuff to targeted groups of potential buyers. But, there are over 100 million blogs out there in the wild. So, what makes you so damn special that people would like to read your blog? The answer is simple - you.

While many gurus say that you need to have a bunch of plugins, tools and a great theme, etc.. for me, the No #1 reason for success is great content. Some IM knowledge doesn't hurt as well, of course.

So, these are my 2 cents on blogging. Pls share your opinion on this, ok? Thanks!

    Generally, if you're talking about something, there's a plethora of other blogs talking about the same thing.

    It's important to differentiate yourself from the crowd, but to be honest, marketing your blog correctly will mean that your competition doesn't really affect you.

    And that marketing should stem from your unique, awesome, intriguing opinions on your chosen niche.

    To ensure you give yourself the best chance of retaining your blogging audience it is a good idea to build a list too. As well as sharing other content not on your blog with your audience, you can message your list when you publish a new post, giving you as much exposure as possible. Lists aren't just for selling, they are a great asset for retaining and building your audience.
