Analytics Tracking Outbound Links

INTERNET MARKETING

Hello Guys,

i tried to help me with searching and searching but i never found a way to solve that. I need to track my visitors if they click on Links, Pictures and so on. Especially on the Affiliate Websites. I got Textlinks, Imagelinks directly to Amazon and other Shops and so on. How can i maybe track with Wordpress and Analytics that a user has clicked on a link in a specific Post? I found a Plugin called WP Google Analytics Events but it doesnt fit my needs.

How do you do this? Any Chance to help me out?

Okay - but i cant track Adwords then without Analytics? If i make an Adwords Campaign and want to test the ROI on the Banner or Link Clicks than it will only work with Google Analytics?

If you're using WordPress, I'd highly recommend Jetpack plugin. It's free and works wonders for tracking traffic and clicks on your site.

If you're looking for tracking AdWords - Analytics actually works great, especially with AdWords. There are also other software that helps you keep track of these stats and more. At the top of my head I can name our own Linktrackr and Improvely. These are paid options, of course, but there are also free choices such as Pretty Links.

i cant find Jet Pack on the Plugin Directory? Where can i find that? I use Pretty Link ..but that doesnt help with adwords...i want to check the ROI...

Hm,

it seems that doesnt fit my needs. Ok i found a way to track the outgoing links with Event Tracking on Analytics automatically with the Google Analytics Plugin by Yoast on Wordpress. But does anybody know - how can i check conversions with event tracking in analytics on adwords campaign so far? So that i can see how many paid clicks i received on a affiliate link? Anybody knows that? Please help
